Southern RI Parents Circle was founded in 2022 by three fabulous Rhode Island doulas ~ Barbie French of Nature’s Om Doula, Hailey Paris of Bellwether Doulas and Stacey Bodziony of Southern RI Doula. Stacey is now quite busy building her postpartum doula practice, so Hailey and Barbie have been facilitating our amazing Circles together now for over three years and honestly LOVE the opportunity to help families build community while feeling seen, understood and supported!
Barbie & Hailey regularly offer our Parents & Babies Circles to hold space for people throughout their transition to parenthood and occasionally offer our Pregnant and Expectant Parents Circles during various times of the year.
Pregnant and Expectant Parents Circles are designed specifically for families awaiting their sweet ones from the second trimester until birth. This is an opportunity to build community while gathering together surrounded by other people who are also on this journey. Each session meets for 4 weeks.
Parents & Babies Circles are a community of individuals navigating their roles as parents to new babies. Whether it’s your 1st or your 5th, this circle is a special time to focus on this unique chapter in your lives after welcoming this baby. We provide education, support and connection for all families during the 4th trimester. Open to parents and babies 0-6 months. Families gather for 6- week sessions. In addition to sharing and getting to know one another during our sessions, we also welcome some fabulous Perinatal professionals as Circle Guests weeks 2-5 to discuss various topics. Our experts cover lactation & feeding, perinatal mental health and wellness, pelvic health, prenatal & postpartum fitness, nutrition, pediatric physical therapy, intimacy and connection during & after baby, music & movement classes, chiropractic wellness & functional medicine, speech & feeding occupation therapy, car seat safety, pre & postnatal yoga, infant massage and more.
